GTA VI Targets 2025 Release
Rockstar announced the release window for its much-awaited sequel in the middle of leaks and speculation.
Grand Theft Auto is one of the biggest gaming frachises in history. Great visuals, and even better writing has made the franchise one of the most beloved by gamers all around the world. Over the last few months, people have been speculating about the much-awaited sequel to GTA V, which is one of the most played games in the history of video games.
Rockstar has had to deal with leaks, speculation by fans, and many other factors prior to the official release of the GTA VI trailer, along with a target date, albeit, general. The game is set to be released on the year 2025 for PC and current-gen consoles (PS5 / Xbox Series X|S).
Let that last paragraph sink in for a minute. A 2025 release could mean Q4 which might translate to November 2025 along with yearly big releases like Call of Duty. Looking at hindsight, there is still a long way to go; we might even have a PS5 Pro on our hands before the game releases.
Speaking of which, GTA VI will not be released for PS4, PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X|S. Looking at the trailer, the game seems to be resource intensive, even for current gen hardware. Let's hope that they don't limit consoles to 30fps like Bethesda did with Starfield. Surely, Rockstar has prioritized the PS5 and Xbox Series X over its last gen counterparts. Let's hope that PC gamers don't have to spend a hefty amount of money upgrading their systems to play the game.
On the meantime, here is the trailer so you can dissect it at your own risk.
