MotoGP 23 Announced: Releases on June 8th.
Italian video game developer Milestone released an announcement trailer for MotoGP 23.
The game will feature, for the first time, flag-to-flag races. What this means in MotoGP is that the marshal can declare a dry race, wet, when the weather conditions change. Riders can go into the pit lane and change their bikes that are already fitted with the proper tire compound.
Putting 2 and 2 together, this means that the game will feature dynamic weather, adding a new element of depth, and making races even more interesting.
Another feature will be a re-vamped Career Mode with rivalries included; the game will put you against another rider and both engaging in battles on and off the track. The reworked mode will also feature newspaper headlines spicing things up.
A very interesting thing they mentioned for this mode is something called Turning Points which will help you navigate through Moto 3, Moto 2, and MotoGP faster. We expect this to be something like what F1 games did on their story modes when you started on F2. Maybe a few select races with a bit of script, so you don't have to grind through the lower categories.
If you are into analysis and lap improvement, then you are in for a treat. The game will feature a Neural Aid system which "...will analyze your performance and assist you with brakes, acceleration and handling." A reworked MotoGP Academy will help you with tutorials so you can master the game.
One of the most amazing, yet underrated features that the previous title had, was its graphics editor. Players were able to create amazing Helmets, numbers, and rider sticker designs. It looks like they are making something new, and better for MotoGP 23. Personalizing the rider and its identity elements is crucial for the scene.
MotoGP 23 comes out on June 8th, 2023 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
